Introduction
These Platform Policies ("Policies") govern the use of Scalezy.com and all related services provided by SCALEZY LABOUR SERVICES – FZCO, a company incorporated in IFZA Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
These Policies apply to all users, including:
- Clients
- Freelancers
- Agencies
- Contractors
- Visitors
- Account holders
1. Platform Role
Scalezy operates solely as a curated talent marketplace that facilitates connections between businesses and independent professionals.
- Vet freelancers
- Facilitate matching
- Provide communication tools
- Process payments
- Offer operational support
- Facilitate dispute resolution
- Employ freelancers
- Act as a staffing agency
- Guarantee outcomes
- Supervise project execution
- Control freelancer work methods
All service relationships remain between clients and freelancers.
2. Payment & Escrow
Scalezy uses Stripe Connect and third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. Scalezy is not a bank, escrow institution, or financial institution.
Payment Process
- Client pays upfront
- Funds are placed into escrow
- Funds remain pending until release conditions are met
Release Conditions
Funds may be released when:
- Client approves work
- Milestones are completed
- Contract terms are fulfilled
- Disputes are resolved
Payment Holds
Scalezy may temporarily delay payout when:
- Fraud is suspected
- Disputes arise
- Compliance verification is required
Off-Platform Payments Prohibited
Users may not:
- Circumvent platform payments
- Pay outside Scalezy
- Accept off-platform compensation for Scalezy introductions
3. Refund & Replacement
Certain freelancers may enable a 1 Week Guarantee feature. This guarantee only applies if explicitly enabled on the freelancer profile.
Valid Guarantee Claims
Clients may request intervention during the first 7 days if:
- Freelancer is unresponsive for 48+ hours
- Clear mismatch with agreed scope
- Failure to meet agreed initial deliverables
Invalid Claims
Claims may be rejected when:
- Client changes project scope
- Client delays work
- Expectations were not contractually agreed
Resolution Process
Scalezy may:
- Pause payments
- Review communications
- Offer rematching
- Issue platform credit
- Issue partial refund
- Issue full refund
4. Dispute Resolution
Scalezy may assist with disputes between users but is not legally obligated to resolve every dispute.

- Scope documents
- Contracts
- Deliverables
- Payment history
Possible Outcomes
- Payment release
- Partial payment release
- Refund
- Rematch
- Account warning
- Account suspension
Scalezy reserves final discretion regarding platform-level disputes.
5. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Create fake accounts
- Misrepresent qualifications
- Engage in fraud
- Harass users
- Use abusive language
- Circumvent platform fees
- Steal intellectual property
- Upload malicious files
- Violate laws
- Spam users
- Manipulate reviews
- Impersonate others
6. Account Suspension
Scalezy may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraud
- Chargebacks
- Abuse
- Payment circumvention
- Repeated low-quality service
- Legal violations
- Security threats
7. Privacy Policy
Scalezy collects user information necessary to operate the platform. This may include:
- Names
- Emails
- Phone numbers
- Payment details
- Messaging activity
- Usage analytics
Payment information is processed through third parties such as Stripe.

- Operate the platform
- Improve services
- Process payments
- Prevent fraud
- Communicate with users

User Rights
Where required by applicable law, users may request:

8. Intellectual Property
- Clients receive ownership of final deliverables upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed.
- Freelancers retain ownership of pre-existing tools, templates, systems, and proprietary materials unless explicitly transferred.
- Users may not upload infringing materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Scalezy is not liable for:
- Lost profits
- Lost revenue
- Missed opportunities
- Indirect damages
- Freelancer performance outcomes
10. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify Scalezy against claims arising from:
- Platform misuse
- Fraud
- Intellectual property violations
- Regulatory violations
- Contract breaches
11. Policy Changes
Scalezy may modify these policies at any time.
